Service providers

These are the outside services Raeltek uses to deliver client work, and what each one handles. Our client agreement promises to tell you before we add a provider that will store your customers’ personal information, so you can object.

Providers that may store client information

  • Cloudflare hosts the websites we build and look after, runs their DNS when you ask us to, delivers website form emails, and runs Turnstile, the spam check on forms. Form submissions pass through it on their way to your inbox.
  • Google Workspace provides our email and file storage, so messages, files and records you send us are kept there.
  • Google Voice runs our business phone line, so call records, voicemails and texts are kept there.
  • GitHub stores the private code repositories for the websites and automations we build. We don’t keep passwords or other secrets in them.
  • Stripe sends our invoices and takes payments. It holds your billing contact and payment details; we never see full card numbers.
  • PagerDuty receives emergency alerts and messages for clients on the $700 managed observability plan.

Tools that run on your accounts or on our own equipment

  • Automations run on a workflow platform account in your name (n8n by default, or your existing Zapier or Make). That provider is yours, and its terms apply to you directly.
  • Monitoring for clients on monitored plans uses Grafana Cloud. We’ll name it in your plan details before any of your data goes there.
  • AI tools. We use AI assistants when writing code. We never give any AI tool passwords or other secrets, and we put your confidential information into an outside AI service only with your written permission, naming the service and what it may see. AI that we run on our own equipment doesn’t send data anywhere.
