This note covers what Raeltek collects through raeltek.com and what happens to it.
The contact form and email
When you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, selected type of help, whether you ticked “Something is broken right now”, and any business name, website address and message you include. It arrives as an email in our inbox, and the website itself doesn’t keep a copy.
We also send one confirmation email to the address you give. We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of our conversation with you. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or share your details for marketing.
If you email, call or text us directly instead, the same applies to what you send, including your phone number.
Services that handle it
- Cloudflare hosts this website, delivers the form’s emails, and runs Turnstile, the spam check on the form. To tell people from bots, Turnstile looks at signals from your browser, including your IP address.
- Google Workspace provides our email, so your messages are stored there.
- Google Voice runs our business phone line, so call records, voicemails and texts are stored there.
Website measurement
Cloudflare measures how quickly pages load for visitors, using a small script that doesn’t set cookies. It isn’t used for visitors connecting from the EU or UK. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting doesn’t change anything here, because we don’t track visitors across sites.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails, call records, voicemails and texts stay with us for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep business records.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, or to have your enquiry emails, voicemails or texts deleted, email hello@raeltek.com.
